Yeats, joyce, heaney, beckett, u2; the cranberries, dublin's art and culture scene is something which is very close to our heart. There is so much to do, learn and enjoy about the artists and cultural figures who have made their mark over the centuries. Good for a rainy day!

from the celts to the vikings to the normans to the british to independent ireland, dublin is the epicentre of irish history. both sad and triumphant, there are so many sories to be heard, museums to be visited, architecture to admire, it ain't boring that's for sure.

bacon and cabbage is an old irish specialty. sure you can get if that's your thing, but dublin's food scene is thriving. the celtic tiger brought ethnic foods from around the globe and not only that but irish chefs have brought about a renaissance with a keen focus on ireland's quality produce.
